HO-CHI-MINH-TRAIL



Here is a project that I have been working on. It depicts an US Army unit ingaging NVA and VC forces on the HO-CHI-MINH trail. The ground work is about 75% done. All I like on the Zil truck is some weathering and battle damage. Some of the figures still need painted and some repainted

Welcome to my Blog

Welcome to the Vietnam war in 1/35 scale. I started this to share some of the projects that I have started and finished in my seven years of modeling. And also find others who model the Vietnam era. I hope to share different techniches on subjects like jungle foliage for dioramas, painting and weathering armor and scratchbuilding.

Dads 105mm Howitzer in Vietnam


This is a diorama of my Dad in Vietnam 1968. Ive been wanting to do a diorama for him for a while now but wasnt sure how to approach it. I finally just dove in to it head first. It started with a picture that I found in his photo album.
